Witchy Stitchy Blog Hop

Hello,You know, I have a confession to make…I don’t really decorate for Halloween but with the projects I’ve been making for this hop (and the Halloween stash I’ve accumulated) I’m going to have to start! This year, I made quick work of a panel I bought while traveling to Phil’s high school reunion. He was always so great about hitting some quilt shops when we traveled. I decided, with lots of input from my youngest, to add a border treatment and some wonky stars.

I’ll be showing more wonky stars soon as my sew talented class is working on them.I need to thank Carol at Just Let Me Quilt for both hosting this hop and for changing the schedule so I’d have a little more time. Be sure to visit the other hoppers!

I love to shop for crafty things while traveling. I especially like to buy things from Europe since they get things we don’t here in the USA. So every time I see the project, I think of my trip 🙂 Your image is very cool. I can see why you were drawn to it!!!

  4. Queen of the ‘Ween … love it! What a fun panel and sweet quilt you’ve put together around it!! 🙂

  5. Oh my goodness, what a great way to set that beautiful panel. Now I have to find one for myself. I’m so glad you joined in with us. I think about you all of the time. Hugs!

  6. Hi Beth! How you had the time or ambition to make this is beyond me. You did a wonderful job! I just LOVE stars, and the way the panel seems to interrupt them is just perfection. I have never seen this panel before. It was meant to come home with you, it seems. I don’t decorate for Halloween either, but my small little ones might just change that a bit. ~smile~ Roseanne
