511AoRB6qzL__SS300_“The Amish Artisan Village” in Middlebury, Indiana, is an idyllic intersection of Amish businesses encompassed by a peaceful conference center and inn. Amber Wright loves her job running all this until a series of frightening incidents proved that an innocent man may have been murdered. With the police unwilling to look very closely, middle-aged Amber teams up with young and Amish Hannah Troyer. This unlikely pair use their combined resources to ferret out the secrets behind the odd happenings. Will their poking and prodding find the truth or just lead them into danger. Is a killer lurking in their peaceful village? What they find and how they find it will keep you turning pages!
Vanetta Chapman brews up a fresh and exciting blend of mystery and Amish fiction with a touch of romance that will keep the reader involved from the beginning. The characters are intriguing and likable and the plot moves briskly but with enough twists and turns for a good time. Like a warm cup of coffee on a cold afternoon, “Murder Simply Brewed” hits the spot.
