“The Sea Glass Sisters” is a Warmhearted Novella about Sisterhood and Strength

51LbzaikidL__SS300_Elizabeth Gallagher can’t get past one mistake, a mistake that may have cost a little girl her life. Embroiled in family matters, her attention slipped just enough for her to feel responsible for the failure to stop a missing child case. In the midst of all this, her mother co-opts her on a family errand to try and convince Elizabeth’s aunt not to sell a piece of family property. Caught between two strong-willed women and a massive storm, Elizabeth finds herself struggling to find hope and forgiveness.
Lisa Wingate’s “The Sea Glass Sisters” offers the reader a “just-right” story about family, forgiveness and the importance of following your own path. Her characters are beautifully developed and easy to believe. The story will grab you from the first page and delivers a very satisfying conclusion. I’d highly recommend “The Sea Glass Sisters” for readers from high school and up (and even for mature middle grade readers.)
