“Beautiful Inside & Out” is a Must-Read for Thyroid Patients

cover32923-smallThyroid disease is on the rise and, well, it’s not very glamorous. Because of the long association it has with middle-aged, overweight and depressed women (among other things), thyroid disease has never had its fair share of publicity or public education. Nothing helps to get attention like a lovely spokesperson and Gena Lee Nolin (of Baywatch fame) has teamed up with long-time thyroid advocate Mary Shomon to produce a book that should be a required read for thyroid patients (and their families.)
Starting with Gena’s personal story of her struggle to get properly diagnosed and treated for her hypothyroidism, “Beautiful Inside & Out” provides thyroid patients with two very important components…support and information. Having thyroid disease can be somewhat isolating. It’s hard to keep up your social life when you are always exhausted and too many patients are given a wrong or incomplete diagnosis. “Beautiful Inside & Out” will help remind you that you are not alone. It’s also packed full of up-to-the-minute information on nutrition, supplements and other ideas to help you look and feel your best.
If you have thyroid disease, have a family member with thyroid disease, or you’ve been struggling with symptoms that just won’t go away, give yourself a copy of “Beautiful Inside & Out.” I think you’ll be glad you did! “Beautiful Inside & Out” is scheduled for release on October 8th, 2013 from Atria Books.
This book was provided to me by the publisher for this review. The opinions, however, are entirely my own!
