Resuming Fifteen Minutes of Fun 3/6/13

I haven’t given up on my Fifteen Minutes of Fun project so much as it kind of got buried.  Yesterday, I unearthed it and made a few more string blocks.  Now I just need to figure out where I put the book so I know how many more I need.  These are the ones I finished yesterday in just tad more than 15 minutes but some were already started.  I’ve got to go through the bolts today and cut some more strips…who would have thought I’d have so few neutral strips?  It was great to get back on to this project.  And speaking of fun, the Nancy Drew Blog Hop continues today.  There were some adorable projects, hop over to Sew We Quilt to see the schedule.  (You can even win prizes!)  Tomorrow starts the Quilting Gallery Blog Hop and I’ll have a giveaway.

Until then, I’m off upstairs to work on a quilt.  Oh, and expect a flurry of book reviews.  I’m just finishing the new Jane Kirkpatrick, I’ve just read the new Debbie Macomber and I’ve got the new Charles Todd and “Mrs. Lincoln’s Dressmaker” in my hot little hands!  Fun, fun, and more fun!

Happy quilting!
