“You’re Already Amazing” Offers Great Insights for Women

Ever have one of those days?  You know, the day when the mirror seems to only reflect your worst and nothing goes right and you feel inadequate, insecure and worthless?  The kind of day when you really need a friend who speaks blessings into your life and lifts you up?  Well, if you’ve had days like that, I recommend you get a copy of “You’re Already Amazing” by Holley Gerth.

I have a few books on my “Every Woman Should Read This Book” list and “You’re Already Amazing” is going straight onto the list.  Holley writes in the comforting yet direct tone of a good friend giving wise advise.  She’s straightforward without being unkind and, every so often, I think, “Wow, how did she know I think that?”

There’s a whole world out there dedicated to telling women that we are not enough…not thin enough, pretty enough, young enough (or old enough), not fashionable enough and certainly not Godly enough.  Gerth hits these lies head on in the introduction with the statement that “You don’t have to do more, be more, have more.”  Throughout the book, she takes time to point out different personality styles and traits with the assurance that each one has its own strengths and each is valuable.

A word of caution:  If you’d like to stay stuck in the same old rut of feeling somehow “not quite good enough”, this is not the book for you.  If, however, you’ve been feeling more pressure than freedom in who you are then take heart because Holley Gerth is going to help you see that “You’re Already Amazing.”

This book was provided to me by Baker Publishing Group for this review.  However, my reviews are not required to be favorable…they are just my honest opinion!
